Hasselbeck's Emotional Last Day On 'The View'
Elisabeth Hasselbeck stepped out before The View audience for the last time on Wednesday, July 10, hugging Barbara Walters as they headed to the round table. However, one of the ladies was not present for Hasselbeck's last day.
After Hasselbeck announced on Tuesday that she will be moving on to co-host Fox & Friends come September, Sherri Shepherd was not on the show for her tearful farewell. Hasselbeck jokingly addressed Shepherd, 46, not being there as a "protest of absence," but did say the two had spoken on the phone about her departure. The Republican co-host gushed over Shepherd, referring to her as her "sister in Christ."
Love you too my sister-in-Christ...My Bridesmaid...My Friend. Who's hand will I hold under the table? Who will pray w me? @ehasselbeck #love
