1. Born Isaac Liev Schreiber on October 4, 1967 -- his mother Heather says she named him after her favorite author, Leo Tolstoy, whose Russian name was Lev.
2. Growing up, his mom didn't allow him to watch color films so he often viewed black and white movies at a local revival house in New York. The first color feature he saw was Star Wars at age 10.
3. At a towering of 6-foot-3, he once said it's not easy having the nickname "huggy," which he's had since childhood.
