Chris Pine on What He's Looking For in a Woman

With his star continuing to rise with roles like "Captain Kirk" in Star Trek Into Darkness, Chris Pine has become one of Hollywood's most desirable actors. As a single man, he divulges to Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show what he's looking for in a woman.

In his recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that will air Thursday, Ellen fulfills her talk-show duties by asking Pine about his marital status, which he confirmed to be single after dating model Dominique Piek for a few months.

After Pine's divulgence is met with cheers from the women in the audience, Ellen asks Pine what he seeks in a future mate.

"Anything that any normal man would be looking for: Intelligence and beauty and sense of humor," Pine says.

Elaborating on why emphasizes mental aptitude, the 32-year-old actor says he finds it important for a woman to be able to carry a conversation.

"You have to be able to carry a conversation. I think after the initial attraction dies down...there has to be the thing that engages you and that is intelligence and humor," he says.
