Tom Arnold Crashes Roseanne Roast
Things got even wilder than expected at this weekend's taping of The Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne in Hollywood when Roseanna Barr's former husband Tom Arnold made a surprise appearance, "crashing" the event and causing quite a stir.

Roseanne's jaw literally dropped when Tom took the stage: "We have not been in the same room for 18 years," he said, before letting loose with a raunchy breakdown of their marriage and "white-trash Camelot" life together -- and then assailing their sex life and poking fun at the guest of honor's notorious temper.
Tom and Roseanne had been tabloid headline fodder during their tempestuous relationship back in the early '90s, and Tom had previously declared that he wanted no part of the roast, even if asked -- which made his appearance that more classic in the comedy world.
Tom ended his surprise appearance with complimentary comments about Roseanne's meteoric rise to fame after appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, declaring, "Roseanne, you were my Johnny Carson," and then thanking her "from the bottom of my heart" for launching his career.
In Roseanne's final rebuttal, she thanked Tom for showing up, calling his appearance "very brave" and saying he was "very funny" -- then added, "But Jesus Christ, how many [expletive] jobs do I have to get for that guy?"
Jane Lynch served as Master of Ceremonies at the event, and used the opportunity to take a swipe at the Chick-fil-A anti-same-sex marriage controversy.
Other celebrity roasters included Carrie Fisher, Wayne Brady, Ellen Barkin, Katey Sagal, Gilbert Gottfried, Jeffery Ross. The Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne airs Aug. 12 at 10 p.m.
