The comedian appears on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.'
Tiffany Haddish might be the newest addition to Taylor Swift's squad.
On Monday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Girls Trip star talks about how her guest hosting gig on Saturday Night Live led to her being asked to a potluck dinner by Swift, who was the musical guest of the evening.
The 38-year-old comedian recalls telling the 27-year-old singer, "I said, 'Look, if I come over you got to make me some BBQ chicken, some potato salad and a brisket.' And she was like, 'OK,' and I was like, 'I'm gonna bring over some collard greens 'cause I got my own garden.'"
Haddish brought over her "joyful greens" and was pleased with what Swift had prepared. "First off, Taylor can cook," she exclaims. "The chicken was bomb! And she made cornbread, bomb! So good."
The breakout star says Swift was also impressed with her dish.
In addition to talking about her home garden, Haddish also discloses to DeGeneres that her pet cat is actually the adorable kitten from Keanu, which she starred in alongside Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. "It's two famous [figures] in the house," she quips. "Yeah, I took the cat from the movie."
Swift and DeGeneres aren't the only celebrities Haddish has recently befriended. She also hung out with Barbra Streisand and introduced her to the music stylings of Cardi B. While on the show, she refers to the 75-year-old triple-threat star as her "big sister."
Here's a look back at Haddish's emotional big break:
