The Girls star said she was so sickened by Donald Trump’s presidential win that she couldn’t handle eating and ended up losing weight in the process.
“Donald Trump became president and I stopped being able to eat food,” she shared during an interview with Howard Stern in February 2017, crediting the controversial election for her slimmer figure. “Everyone’s been asking like, ‘What have you been doing?’ And I’m like, ‘Try soul-crushing pain and devastation and hopelessness and you, too, will lose weight.’”
