The super-cute couple stepped out in black and white at a screening of ‘Final Portrait’ in New York City on Wednesday.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively continue to be couple goals!
The adorable pair -- who have been married since 2012 and are parents to two daughters, 3-year-old James and 1-year-old Ines -- stepped out for a rare red carpet date at a screening of Stanley Tucci’s new film, Final Portrait, at New York City’s Guggenheim Museum on Thursday. The move hits theaters on Friday.
Reynolds and Lively were color-coordinated for the evening out -- their first red carpet appearance together since the 2017 Met Gala -- with the Deadpool star donning a dark grey suit and tie, while his wife wore a black and white checkered dress with an asymmetrical, high-low skirt.
While the pair rarely walk the red carpet together, they’re not shy about calling each other out in hilarious social media posts. On Valentine’s Day, Reynolds joked about using “glue” as the frosting on his heart-shaped cake for The Shallows star. And for her hubby’s 41st birthday last October, Lively cropped him out of a photo with Ryan Gosling, captioning the pic “Happy birthday, baby.”
Reynolds even gave his wife a sly shoutout in the new Deadpool 2 trailer, which dropped on Thursday.
"Doing the right thing is messy, but if you want to fight for what's right, sometimes you have to fight dirty... And that is why Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is straight-up pornography," the actor’s Merc With a Mouth remarks in the new footage from the hotly anticipated sequel, poking fun at Lively’s beloved female friendship film franchise.
