Hollywood had some fun with JT's big show on social media
It was a showstopper for sure, and Hollywood had some thoughts on Justin Timberlake's halftime performance at Super Bowl LII.
"Wow @jtimberlake .. just wow ! ??✨#SuperBowlLII" wrote Reese Witherspoon.
Jenna Dewan Tatum loved the performance, especially the dancing. "THAT WAS A BLAST YESSSSSSS @jtimberlake !!! Congrats!! And special shout out to his choreographer Marty Kudelka so proud of you," she wrote.
Jimmy Fallon, who made a cameo at the top of the show, tweeted his support for his longtime pal.
"YESSSSS!!!! THAT IS HOW YOU DO IT!! Magic. Loved THAT! See you in a few. #PepsiHalftime #JustinTimberlake"
Song and dance man Hugh Jackman also loved the performance. "And that’s how it’s done .... Mr. @jtimberlake"
Comedian Billy Eichner feigned ignorance, assuming the break in the game was for the highly anticipated This Is Us episode.
"Is this when the cast of This is Us dies or is that later," he asked on Twitter.
A few were disappointed that, despite all clarifications he had no plans to do so, that Timberlake didn't facilitate and NSYNC reunion.
"But.... *NSYNC...." Demi Lovato wrote on Twitter, accompanied by several crying emojis.
NSYNC member Lance Bass tweeted about the apparent uproar from fans, assuring them of a future reunion. "We will all be together this spring for the star ceremony. Awesome halftime Justin!" he wrote.
