She lost out to Ed Sheeran, who did not attend the show.
Pink isn’t letting anything ruin her night! The 38-year-old singer enjoyed a fun-filled evening at the 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, bringing her daughter, Willow, husband, Carey Hart, and her mom, Judith Moore, along with her for the special occasion.
After walking the red carpet in a colorful feathered Armani gown, the singer belted out her song “Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken” for the A-list crowd, in a casual white shirt and jeans, going barefoot on stage.
“I wore a custom Armani feather dress cause I’m FUN,” she wrote on Instagram. “I sang my f**king heart out for the cause, a song I wrote for the suffragette movement.”
She lost out the Best Pop Solo Performance Award to Ed Sheeran, but Pink explained on Instagram that she’ll still look back fondly on the evening.
“I lost my 19th Grammy nomination,” she captioned a series of photos. “I consoled another talented loser, whom I love, and I kept my feet on the ground (cause spectators like to dare me to). Y’all I’m so proud of myself I’m gonna buy myself a drink tonight. Perseverance. Perspective, gratitude.”
The three-time GRAMMY winner added it was a special night for her entire family, writing, “Willow met her idol tonight @badgalriri… her fav performances were Kendrick, me, and Gaga. My mom had fun and looked so fancy I can’t even stand it. My husband looked amazing and made me a flask of old fashioned.”
Pink’s 6-year-old daughter posed for several photos with Rihanna, who happily hugged the little girl backstage. She also rode on her famous mom’s back around Madison Square Garden.
