He is producing the play ‘Children of a Lesser God.’
Nyle DiMarco is a winner of America’s Next Top Model, Dancing With the Stars, and now a theater producer!
The 28-year-old model and deaf activist is producing the upcoming Broadway play, Children of a Lesser God, ET can exclusively reveal. The revival of the 1980 production follows the story of a deaf student and her teacher.
This new adaptation will feature Joshua Jackson and Lauren Ridloff.
“We are so grateful to have Nyle as a producer on this play,” fellow producer Hal Luftig said in a statement. “He will have an integral role in the creative process and production of Children of a Lesser God, offering a fresh perspective in the room and valuable input in the process.”
DiMarco himself is looking forward to the challenge, saying “I am so thrilled to join this talented group of producers on a project that is incredibly important and personal to me. The opportunity to be involved in the creative process of such a spectacular Broadway show is a challenge I am excited to conquer.”
The show will start preview performances on March 22 at Studio 54, with opening night on April 11.
