The band announced the exciting news via Twitter on Tuesday.
*NSYNC is officially getting their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next month!
The band, made up of Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone, revealed via Twitter on Tuesday that their ceremony is set for Monday, April 30 at 11:30 a.m. PT.
"It’s official!" the tweet read. "You all are invited to watch us get our Star on the Walk of Fame."
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce also released a statement on Tuesday, saying they are "honored" to give the 2,636th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to *NSYNC. The star will be dedicated in the recording category, and will be located at 7080 Hollywood Boulevard, near the corner of LaBrea.
"*NSYNC fans have been patiently waiting for their favorite group to set a date and we are announcing the date earlier than usual so they can start making plans to visit Hollywood and see *NSYNC," Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, said in the statement.
She later added on Twitter that she is so "happy" she won't be "tearing up" any more hearts. "'Thinking of you,' we felt the need to announce early so you fans could get your airline tickets!"
Last February, ET reported that Timberlake, Bass, Chasez, Kirkpatrick and Fatone would be reuniting at the ceremony in honor of their 20th anniversary as a band.
"We're going to be getting our star on the [Hollywood] Walk of Fame this year at some point," Bass said at the time, when we visited him at his home in Los Angeles. "We'll all be there! We just have to decide on a date. We're terrible at planning things."
"We're five guys, so for us to make a decision about anything is really hard, so we just need to do it," he added. "It'll be fun to see everybody again."
While we patiently wait to see all five of the guys together again next month, watch the video below to hear more from Bass' exclusive interview with ET!
