“There definitely is a reunion-style situation coming,” Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino told ET on Friday. “I mean, 100%. Everyone is just so excited to be working together again.”
A production source tells ET that Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Pauly D, Deena Cortese and Sorrentino came together to film a docuseries-style episode, scheduled to air in the near future on E!. Production for the episode was shot at multiple locations throughout New Jersey including Seaside Heights, the show’s original filming location from 2009 to 2012.
The source adds that the cast is “currently in talks for an entire series but nothing is finalized yet.”
Sorrentino, who has also appeared on other reality TV shows, including Worst Cooks in America, Dancing With the Stars, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars and Celebrity Big Brother, revealed that the cast has recently been in contact.
“We are on this giant group [text] chat,” he told ET. “It’s probably the best group chat you’d ever want to see. All day, every day just fooling around and saying what we want to do next.”
“At the end of the day, there is a reunion coming,” he added. “There is something new and I’m very excited for the viewers to see it.”

The cast, with the exception of Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, recently reunited for a food chain commercial, where they quickly reminded fans why they are so entertaining to watch. In the video, Sorrentino surprises the cast by revealing that he’s ready to get married.
And it seems like he’s really serious about tying the knot and having kids with his longtime girlfriend, Lauren.
“Lauren, my college sweetheart, and I have been together on and off over 10 years,” he explained. “Four years in college before Jersey Shore and then we got back together after Jersey Shore and it’s been about four years now again.”
“One hundred percent in the next number of months I’d like to try to surprise my sweetheart [with an engagement] and also trying to work on a little Situation of my own. I mean, Snooki has two kids, Jenni has two kids, and I believe Pauly has one as well. So, I kind of want to throw my hat in the ring here 'cause they have some really cool aunts and uncles,” he continued.
“I would definitely take [baby] advice from Snooki and Jenni,” he added. “They are awesome mothers. I would just love for all the kids to hang out together and grow up together. It would be awesome!”
