The 46-year-old actress lands a new title from Harvard University.
Octavia Spencer just landed a major honor!
The Hasty Pudding Institute at Harvard University announced Spencer as its 2017 Woman of the Year on Wednesday, one week after Ryan Reynolds was named Man of the Year.

To commemorate her new title, the Hidden Figures star will lead a parade through the streets of Cambridge, Massachusetts, followed by celebratory roast put on by Hasty Pudding Theatricals.
Spencer, 46, will also be presented with her Pudding Pot at Harvard Square’s Farkas Hall. The celebration will commence with a press conference to be live-streamed via the Hasty Pudding Facebook page for the first time ever.
Festivities for the Woman of the Year event begin on Jan. 26 at 3 p.m. EST.
