The 'Younger' actress also gets candid on her relationship with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
Hilary Duff's "desperate" dating days are "So Yesterday."
Sporting a powder blue button-up and a pair of Daisy Dukes, the Younger star glows on the cover of Cosmopolitan's February issue. In her accompanying interview with the magazine, the actress opens up about her divorce from Mike Comrie, what she's looking forward to in 2017 and the relationship mistake she won't repeat.

"I've never been a good dater," Duff, who turns 30 on Sept. 28 this year, confesses. "I meet, like, one person a year that I'm maybe attracted to. I never want to be that girl who's desperate to find a mate."
The former Disney star is currently single, but tells the magazine that her amicable relationship with her ex-husband, whom she filed for divorce from in February 2015, couldn't be better. The two have remained close for their 4-year-old son, Luca.
"Mike's amazing," she says of the retired NHL star. "We're so ingrained in each other's lives. I wouldn't choose anyone else to co-parent with. We are really good friends and care a lot about each other."

That's part of the reason why, despite their split, Duff feels stronger than ever.
"I think I'm a pretty confident person. I've had a career for a long time, but I've put a lot of unnecessary pressure on myself as a woman, a businessperson, an actress," she explains. "I'm like, 'Am I doing enough?'"
"Everyone I've talked to says you come into your own in your 30s," she adds. "You feel more secure. I'm looking forward to that."
Last month, ET reported that Duff called it quits with her most recent boyfriend, personal trainer Jason Walsh, just five months after going public with their relationship.
