How, err, romantic?
Co-starring alongside Ryan Gosling isn’t always as glamorous as it may seem! Emma Stone visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing Monday, to dish about working with her hunky leading man.
While training for the new dance-heavy musical film, La La Land, Stone encountered an embarrassing problem.

“It makes it very easy when you know someone and when you’ve worked with them like that. Learning to ballroom dance, to learn with someone that you don’t know, must be terrifying,” she told DeGeneres. “But with him, I was just sweating all over him and felt fine about it.”
Turns out, sweating is an issue that Stone has encountered many times recently.
“I sweat a lot. No [he doesn’t]. After about a minute of any type of physical exertion, I break into a horrible sweat,” she admitted, laughing. “This is a new problem that I should probably get checked out. We’d dance for about a minute, and he’d be like, ‘You alright? You ok?’ [I sweat] everywhere, everywhere.”
Stone also joked that working with Gosling was “brutal,” saying, “I’m in a lot of analysis. You know, where you lay down the couch.”
The pals have already appeared in 2011’s Crazy, Stupid, Love and 2013’s Gangster Squad together. Currently La La Land is getting lots of critical buzz, but Stone admitted that she’s struggled to take any of it seriously.

“There could be like 100 nice comments and then there’s one negative one and you’re like, ‘Well, that’s obviously true,’” she said.
