'All your relationships can be a success ... Even if they don't last forever.'
Hilary Duff is not worried about marriage.
The 29-year-old actress stopped by The Love Bomb with Nico Tortorella podcast recently, where she opened up about her evolving view of love.
"All of my relationships have been in the public eye," the actress noted, while revealing that she first fell in love at 16 -- to Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, whom she dated for three years.

"It was so all encompassing. It was so intense. It was my life," Duff explained. "It was like every minute of my day."
But by the time Duff married hockey player Mike Comrie in 2010, she had made the decision to dial back her singing and acting career.
"I just wasn't fulfilled in any way," she said. "Taking that break, I think, really helped me step back from the whole 'Hilary Duff' thing and prioritize."

"When we were deciding to get married, I was totally down and I felt totally ready," the Younger star said of settling down with Comrie. "If someone chooses to not live a traditional lifestyle, obviously I don't care whatsoever. But some of my choices are more like, 'I got married. I had a baby.' That was very traditional. I do think there's a sweetness to all of that."
That sweetness has not soured for Duff, even though she and Comrie split earlier this year.
"I wasn't shamed because I got a divorce," she said. "I think that I was in a very successful marriage for a long time ... But we got together based on love and we separated in a very loving way."

The two remain amicable despite calling it quits, and Duff had only kind words for her ex.
"I can't imagine going through that process with anyone but him, and he continues to be my very good friend," she explained. "But marriage is sacred and marriage is not for everyone."
These days, Duff is seeing personal trainer Jason Walsh, though she is not necessarily looking for any more trips down the aisle.

"I don't feel the need to get married again," she admitted. "I got to have the experience and it was awesome. I guess if it mattered to someone else that much, I would consider it."
But for now, Duff and Walsh are just taking it day by day and having fun!
