ET confirms that BRITNEY and KEVIN are out of court for the day and that a modification on their temporary custody arrangement has been reached; although there's no change in custody, Britney has been granted a "graduated expansion of time."

"We are so pleased with Britney's progress," Britney's parents said in a statement.

Kevin's rep ELLIOT MINTZ added that Kevin's camp is also happy with the pop star's progress.

The next court date is scheduled for July 15.
