The VH1 talk show host is the latest name to surface for the upcoming season of ABC’s popular dance reality competition series. The full cast will officially be revealed on Aug. 30. ABC does not comment on casting.
Earlier this month, a source told ET that Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles was DWTS producers’ top choice for season 23. ET was with the 19-year-old gymnast on Tuesday in New York City, where she addressed whether she would be vying for the mirror ball trophy in the near future.
"Well, I would love to [join DWTS], but the fall season won't work because [of] the tour," said Biles, who is contracted to participate in Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions. "If I could do the spring season, I would love to do that!"

ET also confirmed that another Olympic gymnast, McKayla Maroney, will not be competing on DWTS, instead focusing on her upcoming musical career.
On Tuesday, eight returning DWTS pros were revealed, with fan favorite Val Chmerkovskiy calling the cast “amazing.”
“We’re going to have an incredible cast, as always,” the 30-year-old dancer promised during an appearance on Good Morning America. “But I’m also excited for the pros. We have a lot of different pros coming back. Some pros from back, back in the day, so I’m excited.”

Chmerkovskiy will be joined by DWTS vets Witney Carson, Sharna Burgess, Artem Chigvintsev, Lindsay Arnold, Sasha Farber, Gleb Savchenko and Allison Holker.
Carson dropped by ET’s Burbank studios to dish on all the casting rumors, including the chances of Bachelorette bad boy Chad Johnson hitting the dance floor.
