The 'Ghostbusters' star's gold medal-worthy Olympic fandom has earned her a spot on the coverage team!
Leslie Jones is going to Rio!
The Ghostbusters star will officially be a part of NBC's Olympic coverage in Rio De Janiero, after the network took notice of her extensive enthusiastic tweets about the 2016 Games. Jones will reportedly be in Brazil by Friday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The 48-year-old comedian confirmed the trip via a Twitter video on Monday, writing, "RIO BOUND BABY USA! USA!!"

And if you think that preparing for international travel would cause Jones to stop tweeting, you'd thankfully be wrong! Jones' Olympic tweets have kept on coming, although she did admit, "Ok packing I'm in the middle of watching Olympics so I might miss some stuff!!"
