The pop star took to Twitter to vent about 'Close' with Tove Lo getting no love from MTV.
Looks like Nick Jonas was all brooding and swoon-worthy for nothing.
After the MTV Video Music Awards nominations were announced on Tuesday, the pop star tweeted -- as Emojipedia calls it -- the Expressionless Face Emoji. But he made his expression known when he clarified, "Disappointed with the fact Close got no love for the #VMAs2016"

Twenty short minutes later, Jonas had a change of heart and said, "Actually after thinking about it more there are so many amazing things happening in my life and career. 9 out of 10 boxes are checked..."
"Won't let this one thing get to me. I'm feeling so inspired and grateful these days. Gonna focus more on caring less about the small stuff," he added. "Everything is awesome."
Meanwhile, Beyoncé and Adele cleaned up with VMA nominations. As far as "Best Collaboration" is concerned, Bey scored a nom there with Kendrick Lamar (for "Freedom") alongside Fifth Harmony and Ty Dolla $ign ("Work From Home"), Ariana Grande and Lil Wayne ("Let Me Love You"), Calvin Harris and Rihanna ("This Is What You Came For") and Rihanna and Drake ("Work").
We're disappointed, too, because ever since Jonas revealed that he got a NARB -- "a no apparent reason boner," as he explained -- at an awards show, we've been praying he gets nominated for... Anything. Everything. We don't care. Anyway, listen to the story in the video below.
