Beyonce and Adele slay the 2016 MTV VMA noms.

Looks like the MTV Video Music Awards this year will be a ladies night.

The 2016 VMA nominations were announced on Tuesday in New York's East Village and Beyonce leads the pack, earning a career-best 11 nominations. Beyonce is nominated for both "Formation" and "Hold Up" off her visual album, Lemonade, and is up for the biggest awards of the night, including "Video of the Year" and "Best Female Video."

Though Beyonce will be facing stiff competition from Adele, who picked up seven nominations for "Hello," and one for "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)."
