The 69-year-old actress looked less than amused.
The first day of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was filled with exciting performances and memorable speeches, but not everyone was amused.
Susan Sarandon, who was a big Bernie Sanders supporter in the democratic primaries, was caught on camera rolling her eyes and nodding her head during a portion of the DNC. The actress' behavior was quickly made into a gif, with journalist Ian McKenna tweeting: "Susan Sarandon is having literally the worst time at the #DemConvention."
Sarandon responded to the tweet, writing: "Accurate. #DemsInPhilly #DNCinPHL"
The gif quickly went viral with over 8,000 retweets.
CBS Sunday Morning correspondent Mo Rocca also shared a funny run-in he had with the 69-year-old star. "Susan Sarandon's handler just walked up to me and asked if she could have three bottles of my water. I feel like this is some sort of test," he tweeted. "Susan Sarandon's attempt to make off with my Aquafina is the new Watergate!"
Meanwhile, Sarah Silverman, a former Sanders supporter, spoke out in support of electing Hillary Clinton for president, and had a bold message for those protesting at the DNC. "To the 'Bernie or Bust Crowd,'" the comedian declared. "You're being ridiculous."
Silverman ended her speech by yelling, "Bababooey!"
Demi Lovato also hit the stage on Monday night to stand behind Clinton and to speak out for those struggling with mental illnesses. Take a look at the pop star's inspiring speech:
