The Honest Company co-founder opens up to 'InStyle' about being a sex symbol.
Jessica Alba may be one hot mama now, but she wasn't always comfortable being sexy.
The 35-year-old actress and Honest Company co-founder opened up to InStyle about the "life crisis" she experienced over becoming a sex symbol as a teen.
"My sexuality made me very uncomfortable," she told the magazine. "I remember my first Maxim shoot, they were telling me to pose a certain way, and I was like, 'Agh! I'm 19. I'm a virgin. I don't even know how to do that.' It was so awkward."

“I sort of went through a life crisis," Alba added. "I was like, 'This isn't what I set out to be. I'm so much more than this, but I don't know how not to be a sex symbol.'"
The Sin City star also looked back on her "opposite of sexy" personal style at the time and remembered the first time she ever had to wear high heels.
"I was into wearing Triple Five Soul baggy cargo pants. I would get Hanes tank tops and dye them with Rit dye and wear Nike sports bras and sweatshirts," Alba explained. "It was the opposite of sexy. The first time I wore a dress and heels, I had to go to the Golden Globes...I was so worried about not looking like a lady. I remember thinking, 'I hope I don’t trip.'"
Now, Alba is married to Cash Warren -- the couple just celebrated their eight-year wedding anniversary last month -- and has two daughters, Honor, 7, and Haven, 4. Ahead of her 35th birthday in April, she sizzled in a tiny string bikini during a trip to Hawaii.
