"I just love every bit of it," she continued. "I love the insanity. I love the chaos. I love laughing with them. I love when I gotta raise my voice at them. I love gathering them all together. I love when I have all the kids."
Hudson has a 12-year-old son, Ryder, with her ex-husband, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, and another son, 4-year-old Bingham. with her ex-fiance, Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy.
Although she was rumored to be hooking up with 23-year-old Nick Jonas -- who recently admitted the two had "a beautiful connection" -- Hudson is currently single, but dating. When ET recently chatted with the super-fit actress at a New York City book signing for her new book, Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body, she shared the best love advice she's gotten from her mother, actress Goldie Hawn.
"Be true to yourself, and when you're connected intimately [with someone], it's a huge time of growth," she shared. "You have to accept what that is and to go there, even when it's uncomfortable."
"When things are going tough in your relationship, that's the time you learn the most about yourself," she added.
So, is she taking the wise advice? Last Wednesday, Hudson was spotted on an intimate, candlelit dinner date with Jonas, reigniting rumors that the two are more than friends.
