The 41-year-old actor won the red carpet by bringing along his 'pops.'
Leonardo DiCaprio brought a very special date to the Golden Globes -- his dad!
George DiCaprio, an acclaimed comic book writer and editor, joined his son for the first major awards show of the season on Sunday, though he did not walk the red carpet.

After pointing into the crowd and telling ET's Nancy O'Dell that his pops was "trying to be inconspicuous," the 41-year-old actor admitted that his father is very relaxed about the idea of award shows.
"He just wants us to have a good time," Leo told ET.
"I'm happy to bring my dad," he added. "I don't think he ever gets to go on stuff like this, so it's gonna be a fun night for us."
The date seemed like an excellent choice, as Leo apparently started 2016 off a single man -- he reportedly broke up with his girlfriend, model Kelly Rohrbach, a few months ago.

Leo has been receiving plenty of accolades for his raw, jaw-dropping turn in The Revenant, which he received a Best Actor nod for at the Golden Globes.
But there was a different nominee on Leo's mind -- Kate Winslet. "She's my favorite actress in the industry," he told ET of his Titanic co-star, who ended up winning the first statue of the night, the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in the film, Steve Jobs.
Winslet returned the kind words when she walked the red carpet, adding that she hopes Leo scores his third Globe tonight.
"I'm very excited for him. It could be him," she told ET of her longtime friend. "He's very cool. He's a pro. We've been through a lot together -- we've grown up."
But the real question is, will Leo finally score an Oscar thanks to this dramatic role? Maybe his dad will prove to be his good luck charm this awards season!

What we do know for sure is that Leo and George will be pulling a long night -- the father-son duo is going to hang with Winslet and her husband, Ned Rocknroll, after the Golden Globes.
"She's actually hanging out with me tonight," he told ET. "We're gonna go to the after parties together."
