John Boyega (aka Finn From 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens') Used to Be a Stock Photo Model

Assuming you haven’t been living under a downed AT-AT on the planet Jakku, you surely know who John Boyega is by now. He plays Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

And has generally just been an adorable human being during the press tour.

Long before his brief tenure as a Stormtrooper, turns out the now 23-year-old actor modeled for stock photos.

We're sure you're familiar with stock photos -- the random photos of a "Woman Laughing Alone With Salad" or "Man Crying Softly While Typing on a Laptop." This one is simply called, "Further education: friends."

Here, a teenage Boyega is among “a group of 5 late-teenage school friends in a line with bright smiles and eye contact for the camera.”

You might even spot one in the wild, like this University of Nebraska-Lincoln student who said he was “a bit surprised” to see Finn on a college poster.

For his part, Boyega says he used the money from the shoot to buy sneakers.
