Here's When 'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Will Premiere (aka When We'll Find Out If Jon Snow Is Alive)

HBO

HBO confirmed the premiere date for its most beloved series.

Only 108 days until we find out whether Jon Snow is alive or not…

Though the leader of the Night’s Watch appeared to meet his demise in the season five finale -- that's fancy talk for he looked like he got stabbed to death by a little kid -- Game of Thrones fans spent the winter speculating whether he is actually dead or not.

Thankfully, HBO has announced that season six will premiere April 24.

(More good news: Silicon Valley and Veep premiere that same night.)

EXCLUSIVE: Kit Harington Says He Can Cut His Hair Whenever He Wants

HBO stirred that speculation into a downright frenzy when the debuted the first poster for the new season -- featuring a bloody Snow -- and first teaser trailer -- featuring, you guessed it, Snow. Oh, and then there’s the fact that Kit Harington was spotted in costume on set. We don't know what to believe anymore.

Especially since there are no more GoT books to read for spoilers...

The genius mind behind Westeros, George R.R. Martin, recently revealed that the next novel won’t be finished before the next season premieres. "The book's not done. Nor is it likely to be finished tomorrow, or next week,” the author told fans. “Yes, there's a lot written. Hundreds of pages. Dozens of chapters. But there's also a lot still left to write."

In the meantime, find out what Emilia Clarke told ET about her hopes for end of the series and those two huge Jon Snow theories:
