UPDATE: A week after announcing the nominations for the Critics' Choice Awards, the Broadcast Film Critics Association held a special vote to add an 11th nomination to Best Picture for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The 2016 Critics' Choice Awards nominations are in, with Jennifer Lawrence, Tom Cruise, and Rachel McAdams among those vying for gold.
On the movie side, the highly acclaimed Mad Max: Fury Road leads the pack with 13 nominations, including Best Picture, while FX's Fargo tops all other television shows with eight nods of its own.

In the network race, ABC, HBO, and FX are in a three-way tie with 14 nominations each.
“This is a new Golden Age in Hollywood, with a dazzling array of spectacular, delightful and illuminating films and programs to choose from,” said Broadcast Film Critics Association and Broadcast Television Journalists Association President Joey Berlin of this year's crop of nominees.

The 21st annual Critics’ Choice Awards will air Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016 live at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT on A&E, Lifetime and LMN.
