Want to be a world class performer? Take a tip from Usher.
Usher is sharing his secrets.
The 37-year-old singer is lending his expertise to a new MasterClass, sharing words of wisdom and personal lessons through an online class.
In a clip from the class shared exclusively with ETonline, Usher challenges aspiring performers to visualize the crowd they want to perform for -- from the venue, to the fans, to the backstage ambiance. "Once you have set the scene, remain quiet in that moment," Usher says in the clip. Watch above.

Usher is the latest celeb to join MasterClass, which calls on celebrities and industry leaders to teach online classes through video lessons, interactive exercises, learning materials, and workbooks. Tennis pro Serena Williams, author James Patterson and actor Dustin Hoffman each have classes currently available for purchase online, while stars including Christina Aguilera, Kevin Spacey and Annie Leibovitz will host their own upcoming classes.
"Performing is part of my soul, my being, my everyday life. Teaching is my legacy," Usher said in a statement for the program. "MasterClass enabled me to combine both of my passions and now I get to share it with the world."
