The actress and singer's boyfriend, Brandon Robert Young, popped the question on Saturday.
Actress Clare Bowen got engaged on Saturday after performing at The Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
Bowen, who stars as Scarlett O'Connor on the ABC music drama Nashville, accepted the romantic proposal from her boyfriend, musician Brandon Robert Young, who Bowen often performs with.

The actress and singer confirmed the engagement, first reported by SoundsLikeNashville.com, on Twitter, thanking the site for breaking the news.

Bowen made headlines in November when she chopped off her long hair and donated it. She shared a heartbreaking story on Facebook about overcoming a battle with cancer after she was diagnosed with end stage nephroblastoma when she was only four years old.
Days before getting engaged, Bowen and Young walked the red carpet at the CMT Artist of the Year Awards on Wednesday, where the actress opened up to ET about the positive feedback she's received since cutting off all her hair. She said Young was a real comfort to her when she shared her emotional story.
"I cried," Bowen said to ET, explaining how she felt overwhelmed by the support. "[Young] sat there and held me while I cried."
