We know who Katniss ends up with, but who would you pick?
If a teen film franchise exists but doesn’t feature a love triangle between one girl and two brooding, dreamy guys, did it ever really exist at all?
We may never know.
What we do know is who Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) ultimately picks at the end of Mockingjay – Part 2 -- it’s not a spoiler, it’s in the books! Still, with the final Hunger Games movie hitting theaters on Friday, we want to know, once and for all, who you would choose: Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) or Gale (Liam Hemsworth)?

1. Looks: We’re not starting with looks because we’re shallow -- though we’re not not shallow -- we’re getting physical appearance out of the way to move onto more important things. Gale is tall, dark, and handsome, and always has perfectly groomed scruff. Peeta is handsome too, but honestly, no disrespect, that dyed blonde hair is a deal breaker.
Point: Gale
2.Personality: Both are kind, stand-up gentlemen. Both are hardworking and trustworthy and brave. Peeta is selfless and gentle, while Gale is passionate and bold. But Gale can also tend towards jealousy and is too quick to anger, which just seems like too much drama for us.
Point: Peeta
3.Sense of Humor: Really, no one in Panem has a sense of humor. Especially not Gale, who is soooooo serious all the time. By default, we have to give this one to Peeta, who at least occasionally smiles. And that rock makeup he did in the first movie made us chuckle.

4.Romantic Gestures: Gale is a fan of dramatic kisses and wistful talk about running away together. Meanwhile, in Catching Fire alone, Peeta gives Katniss a pearl as a promise that he will protect her, and then he gives her a locket with pictures of her family and basically offers to sacrifice his own life so that she can live.
Point: Peeta
5.Husband Potential: Peeta is sweet and loving, compassionate and sincere, and he always puts Katniss first. Gale is loyal and a provider and has a strong sense of family. Honestly, committing to either for a lifetime wouldn’t be so bad.
Point: Tie
6. Amount of Times They’ve Tried to Kill You: Gale: 0, Peeta: 1 (When he returned to District 13 after being held captive in the Capitol and tried to strangle Katniss to death. He was brainwashed, but still.)
Point: Gale
Winner: We guess we are #TeamPeeta after all!
