Emma Watson opened up about her career-making role as Hermione Granger in the epic franchise of witchcraft and wizardry, and admitted she didn't exactly love her character's first year frizz.
"When I see the images again from the first Harry Potter I immediately think how bad my hair was," the 25-year-old actress told Italian Vogue for the November issue.

We're honestly flabbergasted by this, as there was nothing about Hermione in 2001’s Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone that wasn't brilliant and adorable.

It's hard to believe the franchise debuted on the big screen 14 years ago, and Emma became reflective while thinking about her time with the movies.
“It is always surprising for me, to see how long this period of time is, where I have come and from where I started," she revealed. "It is pleasant to follow that journey."

These days, Emma has grown up to be a super amazing human. Not only is the actress starring as Belle in Disney's upcoming live-action Beauty & the Beast film, but she has raised awareness for important causes, like the speech she gave about feminism and equal rights at the U.N. in 2014.
"We want to end gender inequality," Emma said at the time. "And to do this, we need everyone involved… We want to try and galvanize as many men and boys as possible to be advocates for change."
