"River's gonna have a little baby brother," Clarkson shared on Friday. "We're so excited!"
This marks the second child for Clarkson and husband Brandon Blackstock, who tied the knot in October 2013. The couple welcomed their first child together, River, in June 2014, while Clarkson is also stepmom to Blackstock’s son and daughter from his previous marriage.

Clarkson spilled the news of her second pregnancy unexpectedly in August during a concert at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The 33-year-old broke down in tears while performing her song, "Piece By Piece," which is about her strained relationship with her father.
"Not everybody is born with a great dad or a great role model," she said. "I married such a great lover."
Then came the bombshell: "I was not planning on announcing this. I'm totally pregnant again," she said with a laugh. "That was not planned. I just didn't want you to think I was crazy. Honestly, I'm just hormonal today. Nothing's wrong. I'm OK. I haven't vomited yet!"(See the moment in the player below.)
Shortly after that performance, Clarkson was forced to cancel several tour dates in the U.S., Canada and Europe, due to vocal strain.
While Clarkson focuses on staying healthy, she's still gifting fans with a taste of new music through her latest collaboration with X Factor winner Ben Haenow. The pair dropped their new music video for his song, "Second Hand Heart," earlier this week. See it below!
