"Out of all the crazy diets I've ever been on, none have ever been as effective as, 'Just push back, fatso.' And stop eating so much," Wendy says bluntly. "The extra sauces, like, tunafish doesn't need so much Miracle Whip ... and so much cheese!"
"I cut back -- no refined sugars," she adds. "Dairy is out. I do miss eggs though. But I've picked up some other great habits like juicing, and [eating] kale."
Wendy says she doesn't "eat after dark," and has found plenty of healthy substitutions like eating kale chips instead of potato chips, and drinking coconut water instead of San Pellegrino soda, which she says she used to be "addicted to."
"I don't love food as much as I used to," she admits.
As for working out, Wendy says her routine consists of mostly cardio, as well as Pilates.
"I go to the gym because it's not about me losing weight at this point, it's about me trying to fight heart disease," she explains.
Lastly, she stressed that it's important to remember that "slow and steady is the name of the game."
"It's not gonna happen overnight," she says. "I no longer believe in fad diets, crash diets, I don't believe in diet pills."
"Yes, I did have a jump-start because years ago I did get the liposuction and the tummy tuck, but I have to say that, if there is a poster child for plastic surgery and the jump-off to a new lifestyle, it would be me," she later acknowledges. "1994 I got this done. And I'm thinner now than I've ever been."
