The 'King of Queens' actress is embarking on "new beginnings."
Leah Remini and her family are embarking on "new beginnings" after the actress left the Church of Scientology in 2013.
Over Labor Day weekend, the former King of Queens star shared photos from her daughter Sofia's baptism in the Catholic Church.

"A very special day for our little girl and her Godparents. @crabichuk wanted to share with all of you," Remini wrote, adding the hashtags #baptism, #catholic and #newbeginnings.
Another photo shared by the 45-year-old actress showed her and husband Angelo Pagan proudly supporting their daughter during her baptism.
In her interview on Oprah: Where Are They Now in March, Remini opened up about leaving Scientology after being brought up in the religion.
"When you are raised in something, and you were taught to think a certain way, a lot of times, you grow up thinking, 'This is the way I think,'" she explained in the OWN special. "I'm learning there’s a new world out here and there shouldn't be any kind of judgment towards somebody who has a belief system that is not yours."

During the premiere of her TLC show, Leah Remini: It's All Relative, she revealed why she chose to get her family out of Scientology.
"I decided I didn't want to raise my daughter in the church because from what I've experienced and what I saw. The church becomes your everything," she said. "It becomes your mother, your father, your everything. You are dependent on the church."
