Costello also shared the photo on his Instagram, along with another picture of Amanda at her previous public appearance in July, his and Style PR's capsule collection launch in Los Angeles, writing, "@jessecastell and Amanda Bynes at our @houseofborel @stylepr event #amandabynes."

The former What I Like About You star began exhibiting troubling public behavior on and off in 2013, and received psychiatric treatment, before being placed under conservatorship of her parents, which has since ended. Since then, Bynes has faced setbacks in her recovery, including a second psychiatric hold last October, following bizarre tweets accusing her father of sexually abusing her as a child. Bynes would later delete those tweets, explaining, "The microchip in my brain made me say those things."
"I am heartbroken today for my husband of 47 years. Rick has been the best father and husband a family can ask for," Amanda's mother said in a statement to ET through her lawyer following the rant. "He has never abused Amanda or our other children physically or sexually. These accusations are absolutely horrible and could not be further from the truth! These allegations stem from Amanda's mental state at the moment. They have no basis in reality. It saddens me beyond belief that my husband's character could be slandered in such a way."

Since then, Amanda has kept mostly out of the public eye, posting to social media very, very sparsely. She was due to have a progress hearing just a few days ago, last Friday, to check on the status of her conservatorship. However, it was canceled at the last minute and a hearing set for Sept. 3 has been removed from the calendar. The next hearing is currently scheduled for Jan. 22. As of now, she remains under a conservatorship run by her mother.
