The 'OITNB' star also previewed a moment from the first episode of Jenner's upcoming docu-series 'I Am Cait.'
Laverne Cox and Caitlyn Jenner have been outspoken supporters of each other for months, and on Monday's Late Late Show, the Orange Is the New Black star opened up about meeting the former Olympian for the first time.
"[It was] pretty awesome," Cox told host James Corden of the meeting. "We had spoken on the phone several times. She called me the day after her ESPYs speech actually. She's such a sweet woman, loves her family, and just thinking about that whole paparazzi life that she has, I don't want that life."

Cox, who met Jenner at an advanced screening of the premiere episode of her docu-series I Am Cait, gave a small preview of the first episode, explaining how high-pressure Jenner's life is in the spotlight.
"You'll see in the first episode of that show that she sometimes has to change cars multiple times to dodge the paparazzi," Cox revealed. "Which is an insane way to live."
"There's no way she could have transitioned privately, and I think she's doing it very eloquently and beautifully publicly," the actress added.
