There are two types of wedding toasts we like: The poignant ones full of sweet memories and loving words of wisdom that will inevitably make us cry. Or ones filled with drunken embarrassment that make the rest of the wedding awkward.
We’ll make an exception for Kelsey and Maddie Hallerman, who were both maids of honor at their sister Caitlin’s wedding in Lake Tahoe, California last month. They decided to avoid the sappy stuff...
...and performed a bonkers, five-minute-long medley of songs. “We’ve been living in your shadow, but it’s time for us to step into the spotlight,” Maddie jokes.

And change the words to be about Caitlin and John’s childhoods, how they met in college, and a weirdly frenzied part about how the newlyweds are both Republicans. Anyway, the best part is just how committed the bridesmaids are:
It’s safe to say the bride enjoyed it. We’re not so sure about the groom.
