If she thinks something is "f**king outrageous," it might be time to start paying more attention. In this case, The Queen star is railing against Hollywood’s ageism problem.
Mirren was recently asked about comments made by 37-year-old actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, who claimed that she was recently told she was "too old to play the lover of a man who was 55."

"F**king outrageous! It's ridiculous," Mirren said while speaking at The Wrap's Power Woman Breakfast in New York City on Tuesday. "Honestly, so annoying. So annoying and 'twas ever thus."
"We all sat there watching James Bond, as James Bond got more and more geriatric, while his girlfriend's got younger and younger," the 69-year-old Oscar winner added as she was cheered on by the crowd. "It's so annoying."
