Olivia Culpo Tweets Inspirational Messages After Nick Jonas Breakup

The former Miss USA shared some motivational messages with her Twitter follows.

It's a sad reality of life that some relationships just don't work out. Even when they are between a pop music superstar and a stunningly beautiful Miss USA winner.

Earlier this week it was revealed that "Chains" singer Nick Jonas and Miss USA 2012 winner Olivia Culpo had called it quits after dating for nearly two years.

However, the 23-year-old beauty pageant winner is walking the high road after their breakup, and has taken to Twitter to share words of wisdom and inspiration with her followers.

"People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel," Culpo tweeted on Sunday, quoting the iconic poet Maya Angelou.

She also shared a few other famous idioms and timeless adages such as "Success is measured by the level of happiness experienced while creating and living your dreams," and, "I hope the days come easy and the moments pass slow."

To be fair, she appears to be a fan of posting uplifting motivational messages even before she and Jonas went their separate ways.

Jonas and Culpo began dating in 2013, when they met at the Miss USA competition. While their relationship seemed strong, rumors of a rough patch began circulating when fans noticed that the pair hadn't been photographed together since the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17.

Jonas had spoken in the past about the difficulties they faced due to their long-distance relationship, and that the singer had issues with jealousy. In fact, he even admitted to TV talk show host Wendy Williams that his song "Jealous" was based, in part, on his relationship with Culpo.
