Behind the stellar play of 2015 NBA MVP Steph Curry, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night to win the franchise's first championship since 1975.

The Warriors beat the Cavs 105-97 in a riveting six-game series, raising the trophy in Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena, with plans to bring it back to the Bay Area for the first time in 40 years.
Golden State fans immediately took to Twitter to sing the praises of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala, who was named MVP of the championship, and the rest of the team.
