Netflix announced on Friday that Bill Murray will star in a
brand new Christmas special directed by Sofia Coppola.
Yes, you read that correctly!
A Very Murray
Christmas will make its debut on the streaming network this December and
will pay homage to the classic variety shows that many of us grew up with.

to Netflix, Murray will “play himself, as he worries no one will show up to his
TV show due to a terrible snow storm in New York City. Through luck and
perseverance, guests arrive at the Carlyle hotel to help him; dancing and
singing in holiday spirit.”
Of course, Murray will not be alone in his holiday adventure.
Among the guests set to arrive are includes George Clooney, Paul Shaffer, Amy
Poehler, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, Jason Schwartzman, Jenny Lewis, the band Phoenix, Rashida
Jones, and Miley Cyrus. (Because what is a variety special without a little Miley?!)
