Charlotte met her great-grandmother for the first time.
It was the royal meeting we were waiting for!
Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana met her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth on her third day of life.
The Queen was photographed as she left Kensington Palace after visiting her newborn great-granddaugther.
On May 2, the day of Charlotte's arrival, Queen Elizabeth wore an all-pink ensemble as she attended the amalgamation parade of the Queen's Royal Lancers and 9th/12th Royal Lancers. The color choice was seen as a way to celebrate the birth of her granddaughter.

Will signed the document as "His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis Duke of Cambridge." Kate Middleton's full name, Catherine Elizabeth, was used for the document as was her enviable occupation: "Princess of the United Kingdom."
Charlotte weighed in at 8lbs, 3 oz., and Kate was out of the hospital in less than 12 hours after delivery.
