Patrick Dempsey's home is a true work of art.
In more ways than one, Patrick Dempsey is starting a new chapter in life.
Following his shocking departure from Grey's Anatomy, the 49-year-old actor is selling his amazing $14.5 million Frank Gehry-designed home in Malibu, Calif. Dempsey lived there with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Jillian Dempsey -- and their three children Talula, Darby and Sullivan -- before the couple split in January after 15 years of marriage.
The 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath home features floors made of repurposed scaffolding, a concrete sink in the kitchen and a sculpture studio, Zillow reports. The 3-plus-acre property also has amazing additions such as "a pool surrounded by a recycled-wood deck, a large seating area around a fire pit, a climbing wall and a pizza oven."

"We were looking for a little land and space, and a house with some architectural significance," he told Architectural Digest in 2014. "The exterior's simplicity appealed to me, and the inside felt very expansive and calming. Everywhere you looked there was something visually pleasing."
"The whole place really is a work of art," he added.
Looks like he'll be leaving the work of art for a new $1.92 million "micro-compound" near Venice Beach, Calif., Variety reports.
