It's been a tough week for Taylor Swift -- and at least one fellow musician is keeping her family in her thoughts.
Lady Gaga tweeted on Friday that she's praying for the Swift family following the announcement that Taylor's mom is battling cancer.

On Thursday, Taylor Swift updated her fans on the news via a Tumblr post. She said that she had asked her mother to get her health checked out as a "Christmas gift," even though there was nothing visibly wrong with her.
"The results came in, and I’m saddened to tell you that my mom has been diagnosed with cancer," she wrote. "I’d like to keep the details of her condition and treatment plans private, but she wanted you to know."
#PrayforMamaSwift started trending on Twitter almost immediately.
Swift is very close to her mom. "Mama Swift" makes frequent appearances on Taylor's Instagram, and in 2008, she wrote a song about their close relationship titled "Best Day."
Her mother also helped collaborate on her GRAMMY exhibit.
