Michael Phelps' 2015 is off to a good start.
Michael Phelps' had a belated Valentine's Day surprise for his longtime girlfriend, Nicole Johnson.
The 18-time Olympic gold medal swimmer popped the question to Johnson on Saturday, Feb. 21, and according to his Instagram "she said yes!"

Phelps and Johnson, both 29, started dating in 2011 and have been in an on-again, off-again relationship ever since. Over Thanksgiving this past year, the two were reunited after Phelps completed his highly publicized time in rehab following his second DUI in October 2014.

"I'm gonna be a Mrs. @m_phelps00," the former Miss California USA Instagrammed.
