What a bummer!
Despite being one of our favorites for the gig, and being prophesied in the Hot Tub Time Machine sequel, popular Daily Show correspondent Jessica Williams squashed rumors she would take over as host of the program in Jon Stewart's departure.
The 25-year-old comedian who became the show's youngest ever correspondent in 2012 took to Twitter to deliver the bad news.
