Two people were sent to the hospital for injuries sustained in a car accident that involved Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
The incident took place just days before the 21-year-old was found unresponsive in her home.
Georgia police told The Associated Press that Bobbi Kristina was driving a Jeep, with her friend Danyela Da Silva Bradley in the passenger seat, when she crossed lanes and ran into a Ford Taurus driven by Russell Eckerman. Russell and Danyela were both taken to North Fulton Hospital following the collision. According to police, the accident is still under investigation.

In a statement given to ABC News from Russell's lawyer, Alan Herman, the driver of the Taurus has "been hospitalized since the date of the occurrence and has been unable to speak."
"His medical condition as I understand it, is serious, but everyone is hopeful that he will recover and get back to being Russell," Herman's statement reads.
Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina is still on a ventilator after she was discovered unresponsive in her bathtub on Jan. 31 by her boyfriend Nick Gordon and friend Max Lomas. Bobbi Kristina was also first taken to North Fulton Hospital, but has since been moved to Emory University Hospital.

On Thursday, Nick broke his silence in reaction to Jerod Brown, Bobbi Kristina's cousin, telling Atlanta's WXIA-TV that the 25-year-old was pursuing legal means to see his girlfriend. "In response to reports that Nick Gordon is taking legal action, he would like it to be clear, he is not. Mr. Gordon's only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina," attorney Randy Kessler said in a statement. "He remains in constant prayer for his companion and he hopes to be reunited with her soon. Despite the incredible public interest, we ask and hope that this request can be resolved privately by Mr. Gordon and the family."
ET sat down with Bobbi Kristina's aunt and cousin, who expressed that the family is remaining optimistic that she'll come through this and have a full recovery. Check out the emotional interview, below.
