The How I Met Your Mother star revealed that she gave birth to the couple's second child three weeks ago.
The announcement was made while promoting her new film Unexpected, which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Smulders casually revealed the news during an interview with Bustle, where she explained how she connected to the film's themes of motherhood.
"I'm in Sundance and I have a three week old baby, so I can certainly relate," Smulders, 32, told the magazine. "It's my world at the moment, and it's just so prevalent in the world today. I'm very lucky where I have a great career and a huge support system and not every woman has that."

In Unexpected, Smulders plays Samantha Abbot, an inner-city school teacher who discovers that she's pregnant and struggles with the unplanned development.
News of Smulder's pregnancy first broke in October, and was confirmed by the couple's rep.
Smulders and Killam, 32, got engaged in January 2009, and welcomed their first child, Shaelyn Cado, in May 2009. They later tied the knot in September 2012 in Solvang, Calif.
