This fan had the "best day of her life" thanks to Garth Brooks.
Garth Brooks just made another fan really happy.
When she was 8-years-old, Eden Whitson made the country artist a sign asking him for a hug. Fast forward 17 years later, and Brooks, 52, came out of retirement for a comeback tour and Whitson knew just what to do to make her dream come true.
Whitson reached out to Brooks through Facebook during his Q and A session on the site on Nov. 11 with a picture of her sign saying that she’s been "waiting for the day" to meet him and asked him for a hug at his St. Louis show.
Proving the power of social media, Brooks saw this and was able to sign that poster and give her the long awaited hug last week. He shared the heartwarming moment on Facebook with his fans.
